I am a painter and photographer. My work examines how money, beauty, and survival shape the way we see ourselves and each other. I use Nigerian currency, banknotes and obsolete coins, as paint, fabric, sculpture, and anatomy. I build smiles that are both ornament and armor. I reconstruct the human body from coins. I photograph ordinary moments of resilience. I am interested in what we display, what we conceal, and what we carry.
